New Years countdowns

96-5 KISS FM is counting down their "FInal 96 of 2005" right now (with Dylan/Dan Mason/Kasper) and they're teasing a replay of it tomorrow at Noon. Nice to see this tradition still going strong.

I believe 923X has one planned, but not 100% sure. Anyone else? Q104? WENZ? MMS? WGAR?

Q is currently doing the Top 104 of 2005 with Jen Toohey, Allan Fee, and John Connor.

Mix 106.5 is commercial free through midnight playing the most requested songs of the year. They seem to primarily be 80's, and they were on #130 when I heard it earlier. The Top 20 list is already on their website.

98.1 WKDD is running Rick Dees' Top 100 of 2005 and they are rerunning it tomorrow, as well as Casey Kasem's Year-End countdown.

Hot 101 is doing the Top 101 tonight.

That's all I know of so far.

Mix 94.1 in Canton is doing one..with about half the songs getting spins for the first and last time..

Some of the lower numbered songs on Q were songs I have never ever ever heard them play.

Exactly, they totally broke format with some of those songs. "Don't Cha" by PCD on Q?!?? Huh???

KISS imaging

Also noticed that KISS has debuted a new imaging voice and what sounds like a new jingle package over the past couple days. (I still miss their N2Effect package from a couple years back) Can someone shed some light as to who the voice is and what package they're using? Their voiceguy is also on national Kaufman's spots.

So long Chris Corley!

92.3 had the top 92 songs last night. They have on their website that they're going to play the top 92 songs again today. But with the changes, I don't know about today.<P ID="signature">______________
