New Year's Resolutions?

Yeah, and I'm not sure how I feel about it. After nearly 30 years in radio, I'm going to start looking for job opportunities in other fields. It's going to be hard for me since this is the only job I've ever had, but the times, they are-a-changing. Oh yeah, I'm going to make another attempt to quit smoking. Merry Christmas to all.

Are you thinking about leaving the club because of the money (lack of) or because you think terrestrial is going the way of the 8 track? Or is it because you're just tired of cracking the mic? Also, BE CAREFUL... it's that time of year when we re-evaluate things and want to make rash decisions in the heat of the New Year's moment.

Good luck to you.

Hi Board OP:

Good luck to you sir… Bold moves are the way to growth, though things sometimes don’t go as you plan… The way they wind up going is usually alright in the end. And if the siren song of radio calls you back … You’ll have a fresh perspective and a new appreciation of the biz. Any idea what direction your traveling in?

Hey Mr. 12345678 happy holidays to you and to everyone on The Radio-Info Board. I wish you all the warmth and comfort of friends and family for the holidays and the years to come.

May all of your burdens turn into gifts and my your gifts never be burdens.

By the way my resolution? Make the most of it… all of it.

Louie

my advice is to not completely get out. see if you can stay on part time even if its just a board op, board op. I know many people who got out and cant get back in. Plus after 30 are you really gonna get rid of the "RADIOBUG" Come on you love it you know it. ;)
