New York City DTV Reception

I am pleased to report good reception on most NYC market DTV signals using an indoor antenna mounted on top of my entertainment center. The antenna is the much written about Zenith Silver Sensor. It does require some turning back and forth to home in on some of the tougher signals, but not too much.
The worst signals are the DTV signals of WNYE-DT, WWOR-DT and WNJU-DT. I get no signal at all from WNYE and WNJU and very spotty from WWOR. However, once you get signal it's beautiful and puts Dish Newtork to shame. WCBS-DT is very strong.

I live in northern New Jersey near Morristown and have a similar but cheaper (i got it at Walmart) DT attenna indoors on top of my TV and here is a quick rundown of reception here:

2 - WCBS-DT is fair
4 - WNBC-DT is fair
5 - WNYW-DT is poor
6 - WPVI-DT is fair
7 - WABC-DT is good
9 - WWOR-DT is fair
10 - WCAU-DT is fair
11 - WPIX-DT is good
13 - WNET-DT is good
50 - WNJN-DT is good

Oddly enough WPVI - ABC and WCAU - NBC DT signals from Philadelphia come in better than FOX 5 from New York. Must be 60-70 miles from Philly but only 20-25 miles from NYC. Strange. Wish I could pull in KYW 3 DT from Philly, (analog comes in from time to time) I understand they have a hot new HD news studio. WABC, WPIX, WNET, and NJN come in the best over here. Most of the other NYC stations are average or have a fair singal. I'm sure if I had a outdoor or rooftop antenna, the suburban reception of all these stations would be much better.
