I'm a big Jim Kerr fan; I think it's awesome that he is endorsing the station but is it necessary to hear him after every song? The station sounds great (kudos to Mr. Hunnicutt) but please lighten up on Jim's rotation...

I hope that eventually they will have DJ's. Jim Kerr and some former local country personalities would be spectacular!

It would be more spectacular if country were on an actual over-the-air signal instead of HD-2. Then people would actually hear it, rather than the two or three radio nerds that roam around radio-info.com.

They could be testing the waters. Could this be a precursor of things to come over terrestrial NYC radio in the near future?

Hopefully so.... I just returned from a trip to Atlanta. It would be nice to see New York launch ONE decent country station like Atlanta's THREE! Very personality driven and contemporary. New York needs more variety..and not just on "HD"
