It is 60 miles north of New York City, in the Hudson Valley, called DRIVE FX
They have been on for some time on WJGK 103.1 HD-2 and WGNY 98.9 HD-2, but have recently popped up on the standard terrestrial side on 94.1 (Orange County) and 95.7 (Dutchess County).
Formatically, this station really blows me away! It is very current, very progressive (house and trance leaning) and at the same time they do play some dance/rhythmic tracks that you can hear on 92.3 Now, 'KTU and Z. The recurrents go as far back as about 10 years or so, and even they are HOT!
If on the Thruway, around Exit 16 (Rt. 17/Harriman) tune in to 94.1 and just after Exit 17 (I-84/Newburgh-Scranton), tune in to 95.7.
Things are REALLY looking up! By 2012, expect more stations to start leaning on dance...the trend is favoring that as a whole.
