New York Mets Radio Broadcasts in the Hudson Valley

Does anyone have a list of stations that will be carrying the Mets baseball games for the 2019 Season? I realize the spring training games are only on their new flagship station WCBS 880 AM in New York.

880 not strong up your way? The strength of 660 all over Connecticut was why the Mets have never grown their Connecticut network beyond WAVZ and its laughable nighttime signal. Even 710 was strong enough at night to reach the Mets fans in Fairfield and New Haven countise.

not at night

Looks like all that info is out of date, particularly concerning Mets affiliates in the Hudson Valley and the Albany area.

The Mets own website lists only a few stations carrying the Mets this year:

WCBS 880 (880 AM) New York, NY (Flagship)
WTLA: 1200 AM / 97.7 FM | Syracuse, NY
WGSO: 1440 AM / 100.1 FM | Oswego, NY
WMML: 1230 AM | Glens Falls, NY
WPSL: 1590-AM | Port St. Lucie, FL
ESPN Deportes: 1050 AM New York, NY (Spanish)

If you discover that this info is inaccurate (the season opens tomorrow -- Thursday), please share!

If you are listening to the Mets home opener today, get your Kleenex tissues ready, the Mets is no longer being heard in the Hudson Valley anymore. Now on WBWZ, and not on WKIP. But the good news, you can listen to the Mets on GlobalTuners, or go the MLB site and get Gameday Audio where you can get it for $19 per regular season, and you’re all set. WROW in Albany doesn’t carry the Mets anymore. And I haven’t checked WMML yet. I’ll try.

Glens Falls is well north of Albany. I doubt a graveyard-frequency station from there would have a prayer of getting into the Hudson Valley with a usable signal, even by day.

The Mets have also dropped their lone Connecticut affiliate, WAVZ, but WCBS covers most of Fairfield and New Haven counties nicely. The Syracuse and Oswego affiliates were spared the ax, I'd imagine, because the Mets have bought the old Syracuse Chiefs of the International League, rebranded them the Syracuse Mets, and are trying to rekindle interest in the AAA team, which had been a stinker on the field and at the gate for several seasons as a Nationals farm club.

Are you sure the Mets are on WBWZ 93.3 FM ? I tuned in for the Mets opening day there and there was no game on...

I don't know of anybody here in Connecticut who carries them either. I think it's just WCBS-AM 880 of New York City and that's it.
