New York Mets Returns to WKIP? Maybe....

I've seen the press release from the official MLB Mets website that Clear Channel is getting a new flagship for the New York Mets, and it will be on WOR next season after leaving WFAN towards the beginning of October. Now that CC Hudson Valley owns all of the Poughkeepsie stations like WRWD, WPKF, WBWZ and WRNQ as well as Catskill stations like WCTW, WCZR and WHUC and the two Ellenville stations WRWB and of course "Comedy 1370", are there any rumors or spectulations that a news talker WKIP is bringing Mets baseball back to the airwaves? I'm not sure if WKIP or any CC HV stations are bringing another sports franchise the New York Mets to bring it back to compete with Yankees baseball since it was on "The Wolf" fonr 10 years, the Yanks on "The Wolf" ended the regular seasonsince September. To get back to the Mets, WKIP has been carried Mets baseball since the 1970'suntil they lost the broadcast rights since the 1990's and WKIP hasn't been carried Mets baseball for a long time. I hope WKIP should Mets baseball back to the airwaves, maybe or maybe not. We'll find out and see what happens.

If you haven't followed the article about CC and the Mets, here is a press release:
