I wish to note that:

WRNN-62 is now digital-only, so they have no signal on channel 62.
WMBC-63 has virtually no signal in New York, or if they do, it's very weak to start with.
Channel 64 is an LP.
Channel 69 is an LP.

So the only stations actually facing interferenece here are the TeleFutura simulcast of WFUT-68/WFTY-67.

These low powers and WMBC are craptacular, and replacing them with something that would actually benefit the community would be much better.

These would be the only stations that actually broadcast something worthwhile to many in the area. But still, in this case public safety should outweigh everything else. <P ID="signature">______________

In reality, all these stations will have migrated to the digital core spectrum (2-51) before any of these new 700 MHz services is launched. Standards have to be finalized, equipment and infrastructure designed, purchased and installed before any of this happens.
