I need your expertise!

Starting a streaming internet station. I have the format, the domain name is nailed down, the concept is complete, the page is being designed, the sweepers, positioners and the jingles cut, I have two super-powerful computers (primary computer and backup) and the music will be provided for free by the labels around the world. All I do is have a link to their sales sites on my page. I even have some pre-launch revenue from several advertisers who love the format because its cutting-edge. So far, so sweet.

Here's what I'd like to ask you:

1-How much bandwidth should I try to get and who can provide it best? I want smooth, strong streaming that will support as many listeners as I can get. Cost?

2-Music scheduling software. What's the best/easiest to program and how much is it?

3-Other than those two questions, what am I missing that I've overlooked?

Thanks you guys.

Well-To start for higher quality go for anywhere from like 64k and up- 128k is great(to me at least) audio quality-
A Few streaming hosts are www.viastreaming.com or www.24server.com or www.mediacast1.com and BTW(You might need To be "Licenced so loudcity you could use if you want it..www.loudcity.com(net or com dont remember..) or www.swcast.net(SWcast*cheaper than loudcity!*
2) Music Scheduling software- some good radio automation software is SAM 3 Broadcaster, DRS 2006, And also OTS DJ
Hope this helps you!

Thank you times ten! I appreciate the help. (I will AIM you in the near future) I plan to use SHOUTcast; is that better? TY again.

I would love to talk as well about these things. I have a few questions while we are at it as well. Is there a way to speed my music up? Also to make it sound better or maybe put a little ego or reverb to it?

my aim is dancemixusa
