Newbie: What do I need to know?

Hello, everyone.

I'm a former radio guy here in Jacksonville, Florida, who never thought he would try satellite radio.

Well...I have. I received and activated my Roady2 yesterday, and in about 3 hours total of channel surfing, I am quite impressed.

I look forward to joing the discussions here. So far I've spent most of my time listening to da Boneyard, Lucy, Fungus, and Ethel, totally amazed at how much more I am hearing versus the playlists of local radio, and even my own mp3 collection.

Is there an FAQ or anything out there for a newbie? I have signed up for the weekly XM email and all. What else do I need to know? ;-)

You might give the Bob Edwards Show on XMPR 133 a shot. It's on at 8 AM & 9 AM & 9 PM EST. I don't like every single episode, but Bob seems very good about making the show about the guest, and not about the host (like so many shows are these days). There is also a repeating loop of the show on XM Radio Online channel 133, that seems to repeat the last 5 days' worth of the show (as deduced from my admittedly occasional listening).
Edited by jegrant on 06/30/05 06:02 AM.
