Hey Frank!
I'm guessing the Japan FEN/AFN's were common catches for you up there too? Our own Paul Walker (someradioguy) had them many times up there the past few years.

When i had the longwire in galena, AFN 810 Tokyo was heard every day and at least kinda sorta decently.. 1575 Misawa was never very good but it showed up once or twice a week

954 CRo Dvorjka Czech Republic in right now! Perfectly heard with talk in Czech. Also 1215 Absolute Radio and what I think is Moldova on 1413...

Vesti FM 1413 was confirmed earlier tonight with Russian talk // stream. Also heard: 1152 Romania // webstream, news in Romanian; IRIB Iran on 1278 // stream, woman in Farsi; 1386 Lithuania, Radio Baltic Waves heard around 0350z (7:50 PT) with an NHK Japanese lesson, they relay their Russian world service at 0330-0400. Multiple UNIDs - 1296, 1503, 1341 (Northern Ireland?), 1053 (didn't sound like TalkSport), 936, possible BBC R 5 Live on 693. Great TA night up in the northwoods.

Great Stuff, crainbebo. That is one awesome receiver in one awesome location! (And an awesome list from an awesome DXer!)

Great job!

This morning I noted multiple NHK 1 stations were in 1khz test tone around 1700z. They must have been off for transmitter maintenance, since the network usually runs 24/7. I noted tones on 1503 (JOUK) and 612 (JOLK). JOAK-594 still had their normal overnight programming, so only a few stations went off.

Vesti, 1413 can be very strong here, 1386 Lithuania is heard here too, not as strong sometimes, but still pretty decently.

The music on the 936 sounds familiar - I'd tentatively ID it as Homs, Syria (200kW).

Is this one gone? The last month or so I've occasionally clicked the link above and got nothing. Wondering if it has signed off or is accessible elsewhere.

Good news--thank you!
It's on an internet connection with dynamic IP. Expect it to change again if the connection drops and comes back with a new IP address.

The operator posts regularly on several of the DX club email lists, so joining one of them (especially IRCA) is a good way to keep track of its status.
