At a local health club today, one of the TV's was tuned into News 12. (Note that since I switched to Fios, I no longer have access to News 12 The Bronx - remember, you won't find them on "phone company TV". ;D )
Anyway, the bottom-of-the-screen ticker which is usually busy with local and international news and sports scores was quite dormant, with just one message: "Congrats News 12 The Bronx on 4 Emmy nominations." That message was on for the entire time I was able to see it.
I wonder if other News 12 operations in Westchester or New Jersey or Long Island, who were also nominated for New York Emmys, also ran their ticker this way, and for how long.
