I figured this was eventually coming.

The partnership has seemed to be on life support the past year. Aside from a billboard for Wave 100 that used to run during newscasts, the former simulcasts on Talk Radio 101, and news & weather updates, there really wasn't much to prove it actually existed. Now, i'm no longer hearing the updates, and all references to WMBB have been removed from Magic's websites.

I would imagine that WMBB is going to align with Double O because of WJHG's relationship with Clear Channel.

Yes, probably from day one.

The partnership appeared to be very one sided. WMBB had radio airtime and Magic/Styles had some sporadic TV advertising. With event coverage, 101 regularly covered those that WMBB was involved with, but WMBB seldom returned the effort.

Still, I miss the 5-6 news simulcast on 101

I'm guessing that WMBB will not jump back into any radio partnership any time soon.
 
Funny that the Magical One made this partnership disappear. Way to support your partners you first dump their newscast which is higlhly rated. Then you do not show up to an event. Magic Boy must of been being nice somewhere.

I heard on today's news when Jerry Tabatt was out at the disaster expo in Marianna that PFM was there.

Several weeks ago, this was the event that Magic failed to show up at the Panama City Mall...even after repeated mentions of a live remote by Magic Broadcasting on WMBB's promo.

Looks like Double O is now partners with News 13!!!
 
Now I understand why these radio stations were always off the air...OMG, how times have changed.

If you click on the jovalentine.com homepage on the "page cannot be found"..it directs you to a banner proclaming a new website coming in Panama City!!
 
Ape....when that was posted a couple of days ago, the site worked...I went to the site right from the link on the posting.....obviously, he took it down after it was brought to the attention of everyone on the board.

Watch them use Wayne Gentry as a weather guy. Somehow, I don't think that dude is a real meteorologist.

(he's the weather guy for "Beach TV" which is nothing more then ADs)

Just heard a few mins ago on news 13 that they are now partners with another media group which i think is called panama city radio. The stations are Arrow 95.9, Kat Country 103.5, smooth jazz 105.1, and 107.9PFM. They were talking to the lady from jazz 105.1 and now WMBB news is on there station from 5:30a.m. to 6a.m. and not on 101.1 anymore.

Well then...I guess Double O is back to it's original name as Panama City Radio Group!
Maybe WMBB will finally give them a web presence!

What next...FOX 28...or even WBIF aligning with Magic?
Now THAT would make sense!
