I just heard a Christopher Landers? on WBAP this afternoon. He's one of the better ones i've heard in a long time.

The overnight newsperson is a great anchor Bob Crowley Good pipes, nice pace and he talks to you. No billboard.

Christopher Landers is a great talent, and a great person.
My personal favorite anchor is Mark Watkins.

I agree Mark is very good. Actually I enjoy all the anchors on krld and WBAP. Were going through a good time for competent news anchors.

Mark Watkins however like Maria over at Channel 11 needs to "git themselves"a Texas Pronounciation guide. Mark talked about that old "fav"
'Bex- R' county again.

That's hard to believe since he once worked in that county.

I don't believe Mark said that, either. Didn't hear it up here.

Sorry Kids, HE DID and even called San Antonio "San ANN TONE'" on a serious story.

Christopher Landers has a distinction completely separate and apart from radio, as the inventor of some type of heart valve or pacemaker machine. Ask him about it sometime.

Chris is an incredibly intelligent guy who has great pipes. I have known his work for years and think they made a great move in hiring him.
