Denver News anchor Pat Woodard retires from KOA

At the end of September, longtime KOA news anchor Pat Woodard retired after 16 years at the station. Originally from Minnesota, Woodard had a 52-year career in radio.

Most recently, Woodard was also the business-news anchor for "Colorado's Morning News". His retirement came just a few days before "Colorado Morning News" co-host Marty Lenz was swept away in the latest round of iHeart layoffs.

KOA talk show host Ross Kaminsky interviewed Woodard on his last day at the station: Longtime News Anchor Pat Woodard on His Last Day at KOA | KOA 850 AM & 94.1 FM | Ross Kaminsky
