News anchors/reports that have crossed languages

Have there been news anchors/reporters successful crossover thru Spanish and/or English such as Jessica Aguirre cross from Univision WLTV 23 in the start to WCIX CBS 6 (back then) to WSVN FOX 7, into NBC Bay Area news anchor (KNTV-San Jose).

Indianapolis had Gene Rodriguez, who was hired to anchor Spanish newscasts on LIN's Univision WIIH starting about 2006. When LIN and Univision terminated their affiliation, Rodriguez was reassigned to anchor weekends at 6 and 11 on WISH until about 2011. Don't know where she is now.

We must mention the infamous Rick Sanchez, who famously flamed out at CNN - is now a Fox News contributor, and also works for Mundo Fox, their Spanish channel.

I believe he may have started out in Spanish language news, as well.

Christina Gonzalez, a longtime field reporter at Fox's KTTV, was previously an evening news anchor crosstown at Univision's KMEX for a number of years.

Jose Diaz-Balart has had prominent roles on English speaking networks (CBS, on one of the many incarnations of "CBS This Morning", and on MSNBC) , but he currently is anchoring on Telemundo.

Not in the United States and not on television, but Ana Maria Salazar hosts an English-language newscast from Mexico City that is heard on various radio stations throughout Mexico. Of course, she also hosts talk shows in Spanish there.

It's not major market TV, but Carlos Correa, who I believe anchors at KERO in Bakersfield now, used to anchor and report for KOLR and KDEB/KSFX-TV in Springfield, MO. He'd do most of his anchoring and reporting in English but would do a 5 minute Spanish newscast during the 9 PM news on KDEB/KSFX-TV.

He's also an MSNBC contributor mostly when it comes to Immigration & other Latino issues. In this sense, he does a little bit of both

Cheers & 73 ;D

John Morales, meteorologist for NBC O&O WTVJ NBC 6 in Miami. Prior to that he was with sister station (and Telemundo O&O) WSCV Channel 51 in Miami. In the Miami/Fort Lauderdale market, that is called a demotion. ;D
