WNTK General Manager and President Bob Vinikoor declined to get into the specifics of why he decided to replace Arnesen with Goldsmith, but said, “It was time for a change, that's all.”

He does have some history with the station...I believe he was the substitute host back when Arnie originated her show from WNTK. Always thought it an odd move having a heavily right-leaning host substitute for an equally heavy left-leaning one.

While I don't often agree with her viewpoints, I do find her show interesting and her passion for her "causes" comes thru. Goldsmith just sounds full of himself.
