News Channel 8 to become NEWS 8

WTNH needs much more than a new look. They need to invest in the northern part of the market, and stop ignoring the Hartford metro.

I hate to nitpick...but can we be a little more mature on our descriptions?
 
I like how WTNH put they used that slogan before "they" did. Meaning the EVERYWHERE slogan that Channel 3 uses. As for WFSB they should make a new promo about how they don't change their name and everyone else has.
 
According to their website, WTNH has started getting the equipment in for broadcasting their news in HD. No definitive timetable for when this starts though.
 
Who wants to bet that, once 8 gets its HD situation taken care of, they'll start to call themselves "WTNHD"? ;D
