"News Chick" Now FTE @ KIRO

It's official...Linda Thomas is now the co-host of the KIRO morning news show with Hersholt. Congrats to Linda on her new gig and for Jane Shannon landing on her feet.
 
Now that Linda's officially Jane's replacement, know what'd I like to see? Shannon re-pairing with Yeend. Old KIRO vs. new KIRO. That would be a fun one to watch.
 
Linda is smart and makes anybody she's on with - Rivers, Ichabod, Hersholt - sound better. KIRO might be too far gone for her to save. I listened a little last week and the show does sound more interesting with her there, still KIRO's FM signal is weak. I can barely get it in WS.

At least you can understand what's on. In Bellingham, Dave Ross sounds like he's sitting in a corrugated tin shack and talking with a gigantic wad of bubble gum in his mouth during a massive hailstorm on 97.3 MHz....Or whenever CKLR doesn't blast in over with some stereo relief of the Fleetwood Mac kind.....
