News Chopper Crash Update

Does anyone know how ABC15 covered the anniversary/this story? I didn't get a chance to watch Mondays 5/6/10 P.M. newscasts. Watched Tuesday morning Daybreak and it was a short story showing the Bowerbank/Cox animation and interviewing an aviation expert still saying that it was both Bowerbank and Smiths faults.

On 3TV Scott Pasmore was wearing a lapel pin in honor of the 4 journalists. Not sure if any other on-air personality wore/displayed something.

Mc12 aired the videos and displayed a statement from Misner saying Mc12 always kept the pilot/reporter job separate.

The statement from Misner seemed inappropriate to me, but that was just my reaction. Am I the only one?!?!?

After the story was over, the screen faded, pause and then Fay Fredricks delivered the next story.

Found video of 5pm report which talked about the news conference and played the simulation of the accident. They then interviewed an "aviation expert" who could only say it was an accident, we have auto accidents every day and that is why accident is in the dictionary.

You can find the this at http://www.abc15.com/mediacenter/local.aspx and then select the Helicopter Accident video.

ABC-15's "aviation expert" smacks of "here's our guy to cover our tails in case of the pending and possible future lawsuits." No other station had this supposed "expert" included in their stories to my knowledge. Pretty clear 15 want this to play out as a "no-fault" accident.

I will say that Kitchen Sink Studio that produced the crash simulation does excellent work and has done considerable forensic/investigative recreations. Here's their website and the video: http://kitchensinkstudios.blogspot.com/
