News Corporation splits in half

The newspaper group will remain News Corp., while the TV/movie company will become 21st Century Fox. The movie studio itself will remain 20th Century Fox, however. Rupert Murdoch will be chairman and CEO of 21st, and will also be chairman of the spun-off News Corp.

There's no truth to the rumor that Fox News Channel will be rebranded as 17th Century Fox. ;D

that's pretty old news

They've been talking about it for quite awhile, but this was the first real info I saw on it (and I just noticed that it was dated May 9th). The actual date of the spinoff is supposed to be June 30.

Oh come on - that's unfair. "19th Century Fox" would be more accurate.

I think you're both on to a new tagline - "Fox News Channel- for people who think the three-fifths compromise was more than fair!"

I like Jay Leno's joke about FNC & Obama

"Let me tell you how bad it's gotten: Fox News has changed its slogan from “Fair and Balanced" to "See, I Told You So!"

:p ;)
