News critters on KFMB

Yeesh. Sometimes, I listen to KFMB over the internet and I have to ask this.

Is there a WORSE stable of news "readers" than KFMB's? Do they teach them to pinch their voices and puke that badly? I know radio has really gone downhill and become a suckfest since I got out of it a few years ago, but good grief! These people are horrendous!

Please tell me that other stations in San Diego are better. Granted, here in the Bay area, we're a larger market, but among the comparable stations here, the news readers don't sound like they drank a bottle of ipecac before they went on. Listening to KFMB's news staff is painful.

From the quality of the ones I've heard... umm... no. I was trying to be charitable since these days, they probably are making 10 bucks an hour anyway.
 
Dinah Smith and JM are good quality folks.
