News Director Opening in South Arkansas

At the very risk of starting another "Sandy Sanford is a shamless self promoter" thread again... I wanted to make known that I have an opening for a News Director here at the 6 station cluster in El Dorado.

This position is more for an experienced News person who believes in scooping our competition (The Eldo News Times) Our motto is, "When you hear it, its news... When you read it, its history." We want our news department to win! Our current news director has been elected to public office and will be leaving to take that position. While we are "small market" to many, our news never sounds that way. We have a responsibility to give our listeners the best coverage possible. If you believe that a news story sounds better with sound bytes and that Local news is what makes radio fun ... Then you're the person for this job. We demand professionalism in appearance, attitude and work ethic. We expect ethical reporting and community promotion. Send resume, with writing samples, along with an AIRCHECK and SALARY REQUIREMENTS to me via email at [email protected] . Noalmark Broadcasting Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Thanks...

LOL..."shameless self promoter?" Uh....isn't that what all radio people are? Sandy, I've never known or heard of you as being a self promoter...you're a good radio manager and that says a lot in my book. But, I have to admit...you did make me giggle over that one.
