News Expansion at KMEG? KPTH?

Apparently KMEG has plans to expand their news operation, including a return to early morning and weekend casts, and news at noon.

I don't know if this would also include adding any local news on KPTH.

It sure as hell looks so. And even better news...the news director that ruined the station has also been let go. Hope he didnt let his butt hit the door when he was let go. He let a lot of quality people go in 2 swings. He didnt go to bat for those who were there. He also changed the format of the station, which I think really was catching on. I am surprised Pappas is goin to spend the cash on the news department. In Omaha, they dont spend anything. I expect to see a lot of cross promotion. Its a good thing to see the Station going back to full strength. Does anyone have a timetable for when all this stuff is goin to start?
