News On New WOR Morning Show

on the air---does WOR stilll refer to Hilarie Barsky as guest host of the morning show?
 
The trouble is, Barsky isn't terrible she's just mediocre. She was actually one of the better youngish female fill-ins for Gambling.

Whenever Gambling was on vacation WOR would trot out the totally un-listenable Rita Cosby and others, and you could almost hear management salivating over the prospect of turning the morning show into a pop-cultureish blab-fest.

Well, mission accomplished. No need to change a thing.

But when Imus finally retires from hosting his Senior Citizens' on-air breakfast meeting, and WABC moves Curtis & Kuby to AM drive, then perhaps iHeart Media will wake up.

Perhaps not.

Imus "retires" within the year and Curtis and Kuby return to mornings. The educated guess in the building is that Larry Mendte is moved on Sunday for Curtis and Kuby's spot
