FMQB reports former 102.7 WNEW-FM guys RON & FEZ will join XM SATELLITE RADIO effective September 12th. Looks like their former home station WJFK (WASHINGTON) has a gag order on Ron & Fez info. I called WJFK tonight and I was on the air with ROSENBERG. I was not allowed to discuss XM/Ron & Fez deal. Note to WJFK: You should list your program schedule on your site.

I was listening to a newstalk CLEAR CHANNEL radio station the other day as the reporter mentioned the "payola" allegations. The reporter failed to mention CC owned the radio station in question and that his station was owned by CC. Love them fair and balanced CC reporters.

WHAAAA? With the amount of free pub that Sirius is getting from Howard, did you really think Infinity would release Ron and Fez if they allowed them to talk about their jump to XM? There might have been a gag order with R&F, but with Rosenberg, there's just no free publicity, ESPECIALLY the day after the show is gone, with most of the Core audience who didn't know what was going on... Whatever.
