News/Talk WKIP on 1370

I was listening to WELG on 1370 that this station is simulcasting WKIP as a talk station from Poughkeepsie. I guess they got rid of standards, but I always love standards a lot like Chick Watkins, and a number of other jocks running WW1 standards. WHUC has one.

But why is WELG is simulcasting WKIP's News/Talk 1450? Is this going to be another News/Talk 1370?
