Newws and commercial at the same time on KFYI

At 12:33 pm on wednesday kfyi ran a glen beck commercial for something at the same time as the news and weather. I would think a big station would have better quality control. I guess the news is all pre-done and not live.
 
About a month ago, I heard it happen twice within a three hour period. Maybe they're running the station with unpaid interns?
 
Since my post has a typo ("Newws") maybe I can get a job out there. Serously, if it happened at 12:33 AM OK... but right in the middle of the day? I think it was a Beck ad for a local gun store.
 
Could be that they've automated the daypart...news is live but has to hit a certain hole, spots roll come hell or high water at a specific time. Either the newscaster going past their cutoff or a glitch in the system could cause the news and spot to air simultaneously. And if the anchor's monitoring program instead of air, he/she might not know it was happening.

Unpaid interns *know* better -- that's why they are unpaid. ::)
