Nexstar Broadcasting will host a live virtual Town Hall meeting with Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee on Thursday, April 30, at 6:30 p.m. CT. The governor will address the statewide response to the Covid-19 virus and detail the actions the state will take to reopen the economy. He will be joined by Tennessee State Health Commissioner, Dr. Lisa Piercey.
In keeping with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s guidance on social distancing, the virtual Town Hall will take place at the studios of WKRN Nashville and bring viewers in communities across the state together via live television broadcast and livestream video. Viewers are invited to submit questions to Governor Lee and Dr. Piercey via social media using the hashtag #TNTownHall.
