According to the article Nexstar wants the ownership caps to be lifted it's so they can compete against AT&T/Warner and the division of Fox Going to Comcast Or Disney. However I say the real reason to lift the ownership caps in the case of Nexstar is not just for the FCC Discount but its to go after traditional rivals like Sinclair, Hearst, Scripps, Raycom, Meredith, Tegna and Gray.
