Next Flip

The latest radio ratings came out last week so I was wondering your thoughts of what station might be flipping soon?
The new country station 95.5 seems to not be doing too well. WLS both AM and FM also are both struggling. K Hits seems to be stuck with very little growth. The best thing that happened to Chicago radio is 87.7 MeTvFm. Their ratings have soared since they began. Are we tired of Classic Hits? I still would love a Smooth Jazz station again. What are your thoughts?

Judging solely from 6+ numbers and format descriptors on AllAccess: K-Hits is delivering its best numbers ever. The four radio stations described as "Classic Hits" combine for 10.9. MeTV-FM is listed as "AC." Some might argue that it would be better listed under "Classic Hits." Add in their 1.6 and the "Classic Hits" total bumps up to a 12.5. The next highest format is "Hot AC" at a 9.1.

So, no. I don't think we're tired of "Classic Hits."
