I am currently testing NEXT GEN 101 Automation software. Any thoughts on it Thanks.

man I love this program! I've worked with it for a few years now programming a 3,000 kw college FM station. It makes our station sound so tight and it's easy to get your programming done. We're a Top 40/Modern Rock-ish format and we've been using just a "power" and "recurrent" category for time's sake. (I was basically the PD and the only one updating the station in while working, taking classes, and doing the morning show) Now I might redo the clocks with more categories, we'll see. But I like that I can just make my clocks and generate the logs.

It's pretty user friendly, too. I've taught alot of students how to run tight shows by draggin in elements, using hot keys, and paying attention to the post countdowns.

For an upbeat station, nothing can beat it. I still works perfect for slower moving formats/stations, but you can really flex it's potential doing somthing like Mainstream.
