Next Media Chicago PD

How many PD's has the Crystal Lake Next Media stations had. At least three of my friends have passed through there in the last few years.

There job listing for a new PD refers to the stations as Chicago stations. Okay, they show in PPM but there signals are so marginal in the metro that they both get less than a full share.

They technically are in Market #3, as they had to put the Crystal Lake cluster in trust to get around the station cap per market and get their BKP discharge. A sale will occur when buyer(s) actually come forward.

I think the "Chicago" stations you read the job listing is for the South/Joliet cluster. There is drama going on down there. They hired and fired Chicago's Edgar Ybarra from WBFM/Sheboygan, WI in a matter of 10 days. ???

There was no mention on RadioInfo but this site was discussing both the fire & hire.

that SUCKS!!!!!! Obviously they didn't give him a chance. Any company that has a quick turnover like that has some real issues, and its NOT with the new hire. Especially from someone that's had a good long run at the last station they were at.
