Well gang we are one week away from the SC RI message board Eat & Greet... Remember the get together starts at 5PM at Wild Wings... For more info read the sticky thread on directions as well as where we will be... If there are any posters that have posted on here, but are still active member please let them know about the gathering... If you attend please hang out near the entrance area that way we all can get in as a group... If you plan on attending please post to this topic so that we can keep it bounced near the top unless our friendly staff mods wants to make this a stick thread and drop the other to normal status... After Tuesday I will be away from a PC for a few days till I get to my sisses house... I look forward to meeting every body who can attend... Remember to reply to the thread so that we know who will be there... See ya next Saturday... CC1
 
It's not looking good for me, Carroll. Trying to hit quota for the summer and it may take every day of rest of the month. Still trying though.
 
I hate to say it too, but it is not looking good for me either, too much to do and not enough time... someone take pics and I'll put them on thatwasradio.com. And I was going to wear my Yes 97 shirt!

I was hoping to make the trek to the Cap City for the festivities, but I have a remote from 2-4 then I'll be doing my racing PA duties from 6pm on. My apologies - I was looking forward to meeting my Palmetto State radio brethren!!!!

For those that missed it it was a pretty good get-together! It was a pleasure to meet face-to-face with Dudefan, Powell, Paul B.,& Carroll. I was late (fashionably late, I might add :D) because I've messed up on the time & couldn't find a parking spot close to Wild Wing.

Anyway, we hope to do this again in the near future. Stay tuned!!!

I talked with Steve yesterday while I was at work and sent my best wishes to everyone since I couldn't be there. Sorry I couldn't come. I'm supposing that no one was drinking beer, huh, Steve? I was gonna buy a couple of pitchers for y'all while the gathering was taking place, but I guess you old geezers were chugging Milk of Magnesia, cause Steve said he'd call when he had a headcount...the call never came. Again, sorry I missed the event. Next time.
 
I also regret that I missed the party. The wedding in Greenwood was fun but I still like to hang with radio people...its a shared sickness you know...Robyn would love to have seen you to tell ya face to face...radio is a sickness...we all need to seek help..LOL! hope you guys had great time. Its football season now and all I have to say is Go Cocks! Yo Scott, when ya coming to the city? When you do holla at yo boy!!!!
 
Thanks to everyone who made it to the gathering... Thrills I behaved and only had one brew... gotts watch the blood sugar... I hope to have some pics in a few days, but hope the wonderful folks at CAE and the tsa did not screw them up going theough the x-ray machine LOL... wWe will see what next year brings... with a little planning I would love to see a big turn out, but I gotta make it through this year... Have a good one everybody back in Rockford where it was just as hot here as it was in Cola Town... CC1
