Bustos is paying $10.2 million cash for NextMedia's WDDW/Milwaukee in a deal that's expected to close either late in Q4 or early in Q1 2006.
Bustos President/CEO Amador Bustos says, "Milwaukee is one of the fastest-growing U.S. Hispanic markets, and we are proud to acquire the first Spanish-language radio station serving the market."
NextMedia President President/CEO Steven Dinetz adds, "We continue to review all avenues for strengthening our core radio station clusters while taking advantage of opportunities to monetize our non-strategic assets. The proceeds of this transaction will be used to strengthen our balance sheet."
