NextMedia is a great company. I loved working for them. Star 105 has a strong GM. The sales staff is top and afternoon drive "DIVA" Patty Banner ia ALL pro. You would like working there.

Any response to this is going to be subjective but I think a lot of good talent is staying with NM. Patti Banner is not bad on Star 105.5, I liked her better when she did the news on Y, I felt that it suited her better. She does have some good bits every once in a while especially the stuff with her mother. From the posts below it sounds like a new half to the morning show will be added soon so it is hard to tell how that will be. The mid day guy has done other stuff but he is new to Star, I did catch him taking some calls for hurricane relief and it was a bit bland I'm not a big fan of his voice either. I think the stronger station (and the 12+ numbers reflect this too) is the River down south. They have an established morning show and a solid mid day host. I say go ahead and apply what do you have to lose?

okay...i guess i'll ask......
(no sarcasm intended. honestly.)

what is it about the show that makes it 'not very good'?
in what i like to consider the early stages of my career, i seek out advice when warrented. i feel that this may qualify as one of those times. and no worries about backlash... i can take it. if it's really a bad show, i guess i can always go back to banking......
