NFL Channel now on Time Warner Cable.

256 on the cable dial. If you love football it is an interesting channel.

Now if TW could only offer football packages so I can watch all the Patriots games I would be very happy. ;D

For $5.99 more, NFL Redzone is on channel 257 here in Rochester. I don't what market you are in. Redzone offers up to date scores and footage for every game on sundays.

I called TW today to add an extra box and was told that the Sports Pass, although I didn't order it, was already added to my account, and it was 5.99/month to get the Red Zone channel. I cancelled that when I was told today, since I am not around on Sundays. But, yes, Red Zone is on the Sports Pass for $5.99/month.

Well if TW tries that with me I am going to tell them the same thing: Cancel it! I never received written advance notice that either the NFL Network was going to be added to my existing channels or that I would be charged extra for Red Zone.

NFL Network is free. Red Zone is on Sports Pass. I have NFL Network on 1188 in HD, but if I go to 1189, I do see the 'To Order Services, call...". It also says $5.99 on my box for channel 1189 (Red Zone).

Here in the Syracuse area, NFL Network comes up without a problem, but if I try to watch Red Zone, I get the slate telling me I can't watch it unless I fork over another $5.99/month to get the Sports Pass package. And I can tell you, that's not going to happen, at least not until the day Time Warner allows me to save $5.99 a month by dropping a handful of other channels I never watch.
