NFL Doubleheader Game Blackout?

The Gribble maps are not up yet, but methinks Phoenix
will not get to see the Fox doubleheader game next
Sunday October 8 (Cowboys/Eagles).

The KC/AZ CBS game is on opposite and since it's sold out
it will be on in Phoenix at 1:00pm PT.

Since the home team is on the singleheader network (CBS),
doesn't it mean only one Fox game can be shown, and in
the other timeslot (10:00am PT)?

Keith?

Because the Cards-Chiefs game is on CBS (road team gets their network) and the game is late, there won't be a Fox game (the only one that's late is Dallas-Philly) opposite it. Blackout rules state that there can't be a doubleheader game opposite your local team if they're being televised and they're at home.

The early Fox games are Lions-Vikings, Rams-Packers, Bucs-Saints, and Redskins-Giants. I'll guess that we'll get the Rams-Packers game, because the Rams are in the Cards' division and there is a huge Cheesehead following here.

We're just not used to that in Phoenix. But the way the Cards are playing, this may be a one-year thing. ;D

The Gribblenation maps aren't out for this week yet (usually late Wednesday afternoons), but according to the Zap2it.com listings, the early game will be Packers-Rams on Channel 10 and the late game will be Chiefs-Cards on Channel 5.

But if you want to check the unofficial maps, here they are. They're updated every week.

You nailed that one in your earlier prediction, Keith.

Gribble is now up and it's SFO/OAK and JAX--along with PHX--that are
blacked out of the Fox doubleheader game.

New slogan for PHX TV viewers without NFL Sunday Ticket:
"The Bidinals. You can't win with a sellout, you can't win without one."

The Bidwill should sale the team to Dave Checketts, Jerry Coloagelo or Jeff Smulyan trying to buy his own team after his lose his bid on the Washington Nationals MLB Baseball team and he may turn the Cardinals around with new managment and fired all the Bidwells under his ownership and charge the name of the team to Arizona Heat or Phoenix Heat.

He's ba-a-a-a-a-a-a-ack!

Here, Radioguy2006. These are for you.

You know, since you don't seem to have any.

Now, the intellectual content....well, I can't really do anything about that.

Tarzan say Paul and Jan should buy Cardinals. They know how to spend money! Put all Cardinals games on TBN!

McRepublic still can't get it right on their page C2 left column
"NFL On TV" listings.

For several days it had KSAZ-TV ch. 10 airing the 1:15pm
Cowboys/Eagles game (nope, blackout city) in addition to
an early game.

They finally fixed that today by removing the late game,
however they continue to list the (wrong) 10:00am game
as Lions/Vikings instead of Rams/Packers.

The Fox Sports website games/markets chart confirms the
Rams/Packers game for PHX.

At least the Rag got the CBS game right.
Cardinals? No foolin'? ;D
