NFL Games

I'm trying to Listen to the Cleveland Browns online..All I'm getting talk where the games surposse to be

I tried WMMS/WTAM blocked it
1400.com WMAN, no go there

But I could listen to the Niner game on AM1050 Listen Live

Did the NFL do that so you can't hear out of market game online??

I'm from Vallejo

you can't stream NFL games online....come to think of it, you can't stream any of the pro sports leagues without paying for them (as a customer through the league websites)

Last season you were still able to stream NHL games for free from the station sites (although the easy
one-stop links had been removed from NHL.COM).

During Pittsburgh Steeler radio broadcasts, Bill Hillgrove has been announcing that the games can
be streamed live at Steelers.com. I am guessing with all the multimedia offerings out there now they
can afford to go back to giving away audio feeds as a freebie.

Hopefully they'll continue to do that. The NBA also offers free audio feeds (at least they did last year).

Interesting, considering that I paid $30 for NFL Audio Pass last month and that's supposedly the only legal way to hear the games online.

Please don't blow Billy Hillgrove into the Feds though...he's a good guy!

Most sports stations can't stream the game online. If your lucky the game will be on a clear channel AM that you can get at night.

Last spring I was taking advantage of daytime AM propagation over seawater to listen to the Yankees game on WCBS during the middle of the day of the Outer Banks of North Carolina. A cheap clock radio with an internal antenna was picking up the signal nicely. The other NYC 50kw'ers were also coming through.

I've found Denver Bronco games streamed online via KOA's website (But this is probably to be expected since I'm in Denver).

Cheers :D
