NFL RedZone Channel Reception Problems On Comcast

Is it just me or does it seem like Comcast is having problems getting AND HOLDING a solid signal on the NFL RedZone Channel?? Here in Denver, NFL RedZone is on Digital Channel 418, which puts it in the Digital Sports Tier.

The problems I get are general reception of the channel as the video pixelates & the audio sometimes gets cut off.

I LOVE watching NFL RedZone on Sunday Afternoons (Even when the Denver Broncos are playing) because I can watch almost EVERY game at once (Especially since NFL RedZone seems to have expanded the "official" red zone from the 20 YLs to just about the 40 YLs, which is pretty cool IMO ;D) BUT if these problems persist, I just might find myself watching or doing something else on Sunday Afternoons.

So like I said - Is anyone else having these problems or is it just me?

Cheers :D

Don't you have to pay extra to your cable provider for that channel? The cable systems that I know of that carry NFLRZ require a subscription fee.

I think comcast puts it in the Sports Tier which you pay more for. I think the original Red Zone channel on DirecTv is the best even though I wated it one Sunday when the Patriots were playing a late game and I got dizzy with the bam bam bam switching of games.

It doesn't cost anymore than NFL Network does. In fact, in the Digital Sports tier, NFLRZ COMES with NFL Network.

If cable systems are treating NFLRZ as a premium service (ala Pay-Per-View), then they are likely breaking the NFL's rules regarding carriage of the channel & will no doubt be legally notified accordingly.

But back on topic, is anyone else experiencing the audio & video difficulties I mentioned above with NFLRZ or is it just me? Or is it Comcast here in Denver?

I'd like to know before I start replacing equipment (Especially if I don't even need to & won't accomplish anything by doing so).

Cheers :D
