Congrats...isn't he the GM/Owner of WEZS-1350 Laconia?? I always listen to it when over in the area visiting my Mom in Meredith.

Yeah, it was a great evening all around: WKXL 1450 won five news awards and one for sports play-by-play; more than any radio awards in the state! :) <P ID="signature">______________

WKXL always seems to win these awards...in part because so few stations even do that type of programming anymore. While I commend them for doing old-school full service radio I wonder how long they can continue given the extremely small audience they attract. I can't imagine ownership wanting to subsidize the bottom line forever.

Small audience? Do tell. I'm told our numbers in the demographic we are shooting for are pretty good. Are we beating WEVO? No. But we are the top AM station in Concord and we beat out most of the other AM stations in the market. <P ID="signature">______________
