NHL Center Ice Status

Can anyone provide any information as to the status of the NHL Center Ice package, specifically on Charter Cable? I understand it took a while for In Demand to reach a carriage agreement with DirectTV and Dish Network. However, I haven't heard anything about an agreement with Charter Communications. I have Charter Cable here in Madison, and I can't get a straight answer with their customer service reps... either they say there's no deal yet (no duh!), they're still in negotiations, or they plan to start Center Ice by a certain day (which still hasn't happened as of Friday night 10/5, judging from my cable). Judging from the hockey-related message boards I've looked up today, I'm not the only hockey fan pulling my hair out over this. Any insight is greatly appreciated.
 
Do like I did, dump Charter and get DirecTV. If you've got AT&T service offered (and if they offer the pkg there, I'm in Georgia) you could get a good deal, and for MUCH cheaper than Charter.
