Why oh why do they make us shell out 4 extra dollars for this "Best of XM"....
 
because its a premium package. the only thing that interested me in the best of xm package is the nhl. that's why i shelled out $150 to get the best of xm. having the nhl is worth it to me.
 
i'm a lifer, so my option was $150 for the best of xm package.

for the yearly/quarterly/whatever subscribers, it's $16.99 (or $4.04 more) per month and $4 for each additional radio.
 
I'm a Sirius subscriber and upgraded to the "Best of XM" package the day it was available. I got it for college sports, primarily the Big 10 conference, and for the NHL. So far I am very happy. Now everything I want to listen to on the radio is on Sirius. I have no need whatsoever to tune to regular AM/FM radio for anything. Thanks Sirius and also thanks to the DOJ and the FCC for approving this merger. This satellite radio subscriber believes this merger is VERY beneficial!
