Great article! You must be proud O.K. The article reminds me what a mentor told me a long time ago at the first radio station I worked at (tiny AM)...his words to me, "Be Local, Local, Local" :)
 
It has been a great run so far. Station is doing very well and the listeners are coming back. The auction show has been a real winner for us.
 
Congrats on the article. Nice to see a station doing something like this. Listening to WLBE whenever I'm in the area delivers a strong message: WLBE had an identity unlike stations in much larger markets that loose theirs. Besides, the residents of the Leesburg area can relate to the programing and music.

I listen quite a bit because of the oldies. And I'm nowhere near Lake county.
It's just that there are so few stations on either dial that play oldies.
