Nice hearing Judy again - BUT:

Had to go to Trenton today for business and I got to listen to Dennis and Judy on my way there. Great hearing them together again. Great chemistry between them and it was like they never parted ways. Glad the station put them back together. Made my ride in from AC a lot better. Now, if they can only do something about the two guys in the afternoon. Could only take 5 minutes of Casey treating a caller like garbage before I tuned them out and turned on Slacker.

BTW, when I was in Trenton there must have been thousands of people at a rally there and all these buses. I didn;t hear anything about it on the radio. If that was the big story on TV that I saw when I got home, then why was 101.5 not talking about it?

Again, thanks for bringing back Judy.

They don't talk about it because it doesn't fit the political outlook they espouse. They're just not interested in anything that shows people don't march in lockstep to their stereotypical conservative radio views.

I know the station has sponsored rallies before and that a lot of people turned out for them. The station would talk about those rallies ad infinitum. Now, when those with an opposing viewpoint hold a rally (with a larger turnout than ever came out to a 101.5 sponsored rally), it's as if the union's rally didn't happen.

There are many well-spoken conservatives on radio who can discuss and dissect (whether you agree with the talk-show host or not) points of view diifferent from theirs. However, the talk-show hosts that 101.5 has on in the afternoon are incapable of doing that. One cannot have an intelligent discussion, while the other may have a brain, but, for some reason, can't increase his vocabulary beyond the words, "ya know," "uhhh" and "yeah."

The show was very entertaining and informative when Craig Carton was there. Since then...not so much

I don't know that NJ-101.5 didn't mention that big rally at the Statehouse on Thursday, I was out of reception range. But I would hope (and expect) they, at least, covered it on their newscasts. It really was a big deal, even when compared to the "toilet paper tax" rally the station had back in the Governor Florio days when the 101.5 was just starting to catch on. I was there, and Bob Grant from WABC was the featured speaker.

The latest rally might have been a no-win topic to talk about on 101.5. There were thousands of motivated and angry police officers and firefighters at that rally who normally would describe themselves as Conservative, and are likely big fans of the station.

But, on Thursday they were yelling to complain about the actions of the Conservative governor, as well as the state legislature. It's been somewhat shocking recently to hear "True Blue" NJ police officers bad mouthing the former tough guy federal prosecutor, and current NJ governor.

Perhaps, the Jersey Guys can make up for any lack of attention to the Police and Fire rally (again, I don't really know they didn't yak about it) when the Teachers have their next rally, we all know they are a bunch of educated freeloaders who took the job so they get summers to loaf, tenure job security, and a big public pension when they retire. Now there is a bunch of tax supported slackers that need to be put back down in their place.

The teachers are just as angry as the cops and firefighters, but since we know they are normally "lefties" they are probably listening to NPR, and not NJ-101.5 anyway. And besides teachers can't pull you over when they recognize your name from the license plate registration, or let your house burn down if it catches fire, because they know where you live and what you might have said about cops and fireman on your radio show. ;D

There may be four possible reasons why the worst sounding team in the over 20 year history of NJ101.5 WKXW Casey and Rossi are still there. Reason one, "management is weak ?", reason two "management is lazy?", reason three, "management is incompetant ?", Reason 4 "they had their Moody's ratings withdrawn in 2010 and may not be able to afford a better team?"

Weak management + weak hosts = weak results!
