LPFM's have been given the green light to add several thousand new stations around the country, including major cities such as Houston. First the translator invasion a couple of years ago, and now this. Something tells me that within the next few years every available frequency from 87.9-107.9 will be in use.

Something tells me I may have to run down to Circuit Shitie and buy an iPod Cable for my JVC!

This must be ringing bells for Aleluya Broadcasting and Educational Media. I can bet 5 bucks that this is the end for the use of 94.9, 101.7, 101.5, 92.5, and 99.5 for my iTrip! What's next AM translators, go ahead FCC, that's one thing you can't ruin because it has already been ruined.

87.9 is never assigned iexcept in rare cases...there is only ONE or two Channel#200 FMs in the US..it will likely always be clear to use...problem is not all FM modulators can go there :(

This could be a problem for me as a DXer, I'm already having problems with some stations moving in. I dont understand what the FCC is doing. I remember back what Mike said the FCC is going to try to do a "fill in" I guess this is starting to take place now. I hope they dont turn FM into a AM at night thing.
