Nice South Philly Review article on Y-100

If you can grab a copy of this weeks South Philly Review, there is a good, honest article on Y-100, which recently moved their internet station to 1619 East Passyunk Avenue. Mr. McGuinn announced that Y-100 had (quote: "the largest audiance, most sales revenue and highest profit of stations that R1 owned in Philly" unquote), this is what I suspected all along. It was far from a business/profit transaction that prompted the flip, we all know what the motive really was. The article goes on to tell, how the listeners were outraged at the format change, how popular the format was and is to this day. The article is too long and informative for me to list everything, there are also some cool pictures. You can obtain copies all over South Philly and Center City in bins, if you cannot, e-mail me and I will try and get a copy to you.

Right. That they could bundle the ad sales and otherwise increase revenue by targetting the same audience with all of their local properties. That is what you were referring to, right?
