The judges raved about a contestant's performance of Paula Abdul's hit "Straight Up", using that to set up a special live appearance by Abdul herself, probably her only such appearance since leaving the show as a judge. A good night to have her on, with a winner and a runner-up from AI's heyday (Fantasia Barrino and Clay Aiken) performing live.
