Niche anyone?

Does anyone spend any time listening anything other than the obvious Providence choices?
99.3 The Bridge: Jazz, swing, blues, zydeco, 50s, 60s, & Big John's on at night. I'm listening more & more.
WMVY: A good triple-a station you can even stream well at home with a dial-up connection.
WELH: Solid gold, oldies, & soul starting at 2PM weekdays. I think it runs until 7PM. They play a lot of stiffs, mainly songs that were exclusive R&B hits in the 50s, 60s, & 70s, but variety is great with emphasis on soul music.
And although it's hit-or-miss, the XM signal on 90.7 is still surprisingly strong in some areas. Great 60s show out of Dallas today & it was live because the jock was talking about the explosions in the city.
White nose on 990AM. Apply directly to the forehead.

For those of us who enjoy jazz and blues, Sundays on the U-Mass Dartmouth station (89.3) are a real godsend. Jazz starting at 8 am, and running till 5 pm, when it shifts over to blues, till 8 pm.

"The Bridge" 99.3 has a nice blend of tunes, but spotty reception keeps it from being a real listening choice for me.

I was just starting to get hooked on the swing/jazz that was running on 990 until the plug got pulled (again...spotty reception preventing 102.7 from being a viable listening choice).

And...of course, if you're in need of some giggles and belly laughs, there's always "Train-Wreck 1320"...LOL.

If Bina's doing nites at The Bridge I bet he's tracked. I don't see anyone driving over the bridge and back again nightly to get to The Bridge.

I used to catch this chick who sounded like she was Russian playing comedy cuts in the afternoon at some frequency below 92. I'm guessing it was one of the college stations but don't know which one. The thick accent was almost as funny as the cuts she played.
