Nick Ashford dead

Oooooooops just wrote something about elsewhere didn't see this...."Ain't no moutain High enough" and "I'm every woman" for Chaka khan a couple my favorites..didn't valerie simpson his recording partner die also???
 
I played Ashford and Simpson-Solid as a current in early 1985, it was one of my favorites. I had no knowledge or appreciation at the time of all the huge hits they wrote.

I think I have it also--somewhere. Great song.

I heard it a couple of months ago and it sounded magical...put me in a great mood. I can't think of any songs today that celebrate a relationship with such positivity.

Yeah I'm surprised that it didn't do better on the Pop charts.
